Hamas has carried out a relief campaign for Palestinian refugees in the southern Lebanese city of Sidon.

Apart from Sidon, the campaign included several Palestinian refugee camps and communities such as Ain al-Hilweh and Mia Mia camps and Wadi al-Zeina.

Launched as Lebanon’s economic and social crises deepened, the campaign involved distributing food packages and basic necessities of life to Palestinian families who are in most critical need for aid.

Hamas canceled celebrations to mark its 32 anniversary in Lebanon, in a bid to dedicate all efforts to aid and help Palestinian refugees in the country.

In previous statements, Hamas stressed that it will spare no effort to assist the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon at any cost.
