The Israeli occupation violates all humanitarian laws and resolutions banning torture, Hamas spokesperson Abdel Latif al-Qanoa said.

In a statement on Saturday evening, al-Qanoa explained that the Israeli occupation was using atrocious methods of torture against Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) detainees in its prisons.   

Al-Qanoa pointed out that at least 70 Palestinian detainees had died as a result of torture in Israeli prisons.

The Hamas spokesperson called for prosecuting Israeli leaders for their crimes against the Palestinian people, in general, and Palestinian prisoners, in particular.
