Head of Hamas Political Bureau received Tuesday Malaysia’s Defense Minister Mohamad Sabu in Hamas office in Qatar.

During the meeting, both sides discussed developments concerning the Palestinian issue and bilateral relations.

Haniyeh hailed the stances of Malaysia in support of the Palestinian cause stressed by Mahathir Mohamad in his speech at the UN General Assembly.

The Hamas chief also hailed the role played by Malaysian people to alleviate the 13-year siege imposed by the Israeli occupation on Gaza.
