The US administration plan is aimed at liquidating the Palestinian cause, former Hamas chief Khalid Meshaal reiterated. 

“The deal [of the century] is an Israeli vision adopted by embattled Trump and Netanyahu, while the concerned party [Palestine] was absent,” Meshaal added in a press release.

Uniting the Palestinian people is a major step towards facing off Trump’s plan, Meshaal continued.  

Hailing Jordan for rejecting the “deal of the century”, Meshaal pointed out that the Hashemite Kingdom is the most affected by Trump’s plan, as “it’s the closest to Palestine and the traditional Jordanian position is in line with the Palestinian stance, which is in favour of the Palestinian interests.”
