Hamas spokesperson praised Kuwaiti Parliament Speaker Marzouq al-Ghanem for throwing US President Donald Trump’s plan, known as the “deal of the century”, in the dustbin.

On his official Facebook account, Qasem said that al-Ghanem’s action “reflects the public opinion of Arab peoples who reject the [Trump] deal and are angry with Trump’s disregard for the sentiments of Arab world and his aggression on its holy sites.”

During an emergency meeting of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union in Jordon on Saturday, al-Ghanem threw the Trump administration’s deal in the dustbin, saying: “The natural place of it [Trump’s plan] is the dustbin.”
