Senior Hamas official Nader Sawafta has denounced the Israeli government's decision to tighten the blockade on Hebron province as a reflection of its utter racism
Senior Hamas official Nader Sawafta has denounced the Israeli government's decision to tighten the blockade on Hebron province as a reflection of its utter racism and arrogance.
In a press release on Monday, Sawafta said that Israel's escalation of its restrictions on the lives and movement of the Palestinians in the West Bank would only make them more determined to continue their resistance and intifada against the occupation.
He added that Jerusalem intifada would become fiercer and stronger despite Israel's ongoing crimes against the Palestinians, opining that Israeli measures to break Palestinians in West Bank will meet the same failure it faced in Gaza.
Sawafta urged all Palestinians in the occupied territories and the resistance factions to back the intifada, which represents the beginning of the Israeli occupation's demise and its removal from every inch of Palestine.
Israeli forces had tightened the restrictions on the movement of Palestinians across the southern West Bank city of Hebron, while occupation authorities decided to cancel work permits for 1,200 Hebron workers who seek to work inside the lands of 1948.
