Israeli occupation army chief of staff Aviv Kochavi’s multiyear plan for the Israeli occupation military reflects a criminal mentality dominating Israeli leaders, who have run afoul of all humanitarian laws and norms, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem has said.

In a press release on Saturday, Qasem explained that Kochavi was looking for a “lost victory” and wanted to compensate for his inability to win military battles by committing massacres against Palestinian civilians. 

Qasem confirmed that such plan would never discourage the Palestinian people from continuing their struggle to restore their lands and holy sites.

The Palestinian resistance will continue to fulfill its duty to defend its people, Qasem reiterated.

“Kochavi will leave and the occupation will be ended, but our people will remain steadfast on their lands and the Palestinian resistance will remain the shield protecting them,” Qasem concluded.
