A high-ranking delegation from Hamas visited on Friday Brigadier General Fawzi Hamada, head of Lebanese Military Intelligence in southern Lebanon.
The meeting was attended by Hamas deputy political chief Jihad Taha, head of Hamas’ Lebanese Relations Office Ayman Shanaa, and Abdel Majeed Awad, in charge of Hamas’ political and media relations.
The participants discussed the “deal of the century” and its repercussions on Palestine and the region, stressing that Palestinian unity and the resistance option “are the shortest paths toward foiling all conspiracies concerning the Palestinian cause.”
The Palestinian and Lebanese officials addressed the security and social situations in Palestinian refugee camps in the country, reiterating the necessity of maintaining security and stability in the refugee camps and neighbouring Lebanese towns and cities.
