Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem has called for uniting Arab and Muslim efforts to face off the “expansionist Israeli project” in the region.

In a press release, Qasem added that Israeli occupation army launching air strikes on the Syrian capital of Damascus “confirms that the hostile mentality of the [Israeli] occupation government is targeting all segments of the whole Ummah and poses a threat to the Arab region.”

Qasem stressed that the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip are an “extension of a continuous battle between an arrogant coloniser and a people seeking to restore their dignity and live a decent life on their lands.”

The Hamas spokesperson confirmed that the Palestinian people would win this fight against the occupation.
