Hamas movement mourns the death of Islamic Scholar Muhammed Amara, member of Council of Senior Scholars and Islamic Research Center in Egypt. Dr Amara passed away at 89 on Friday evening. He spent his life serving Islam and promoting tolerance and understanding. He also served the issues of the Islamic Ummah, above all the Palestinian cause.

May he rest in peace. We wish that Allah grant his family patience and solace.
