Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh, accompanied by a senior delegation, has met with Leonid Slutsky, chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on International Affairs.

The meeting focuse on the “deal of the century” and its grave implications on the Palestinian arena and rights of Palestinian refugees.

Slutsky reiterated Russia’s rejection of the Trump plan, vowing that his country would work with all countries supporting this position to foil the US deal.

 Warning against targeting Palestinian rights, Slutsky called for a unified Palestinian stance to be taken against the Trump administration’s deal.
