The arrest campaign launched by Israeli occupation forces against Islamic Bloc activists in Birzeit University in which 11 students were detained is an attempt to affect the Islamic Bloc’s activities and election process, scheduled for next April.

We stress that Birzeit University students will foil Israeli schemes and student movements at the Palestinian universities will set an example of the Palestinian revolutionary awareness in the face of the Israeli occupation.    

We hail all Islamic Bloc activists at the Birzeit University alongside at all Palestinian universities for insisting on student activism despite of threats, arrests, and banning them from pursing their studies; the Palestinian student movement have always been a pioneer in the Palestinian union activity.
