The ongoing fight of Palestinian residents of al-Isawiya village in occupied Jerusalem against the Israeli occupation army reflects the spirit of resistance embraced by all of the Palestinian people, said Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem.

In spite of the escalating Israeli attacks against the Palestinian people, Qasem stressed in a press release Thursday, resisting the Israeli occupation reiterates that the Palestinian people are determined to restore their freedom and end the occupation of their lands.

Qasem explained that the ongoing struggle of the Palestinian people would put an end to the settler-colonial Israeli occupation of Jerusalem and preserve the Arab, Palestinian identity of the holy city.
