Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh has expressed the movement’s heartfelt congrats to President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping and the Chinese people over the country success to battle against the coronavirus (COVID 19).

In a letter sent to Xi Jinping, Haniyeh called upon the Chinese President to provide medical aid to Palestinian people in the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, and in the refugee’s camps in the diaspora, hailing the humanitarian endeavours of China in this regard.

The Hamas chief also highlighted the China’s tremendous efforts in the word’s battle against coronavirus, stressing that such an honourable position lays the foundations for international cooperation to respond and control the pandemic that threatens humanity.

The top Hamas official praised China’s positions in support of the just Palestinian cause to help the Palestinian people restore their legitimate rights.

He concluded by highlighting that Hamas is prepared to work with China to serve the mutual interests of both nations, which would be an outstanding example of cooperation for humanity.
