Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh has phoned the Palestinian Authority’s President Mahmoud Abbas to congratulate him on the advent of Ramadan, wishing the world success in the battle against the coronavirus

Haniyeh also discussed with Abbas the political developments and challenges after forming the Israeli cabinet which plans to implement the ‘Deal of Century’.

The Hamas chief stressed that the Palestinian people must be united in the face of the Israeli schemes in order to not pass any US plan or project that abolishes the Palestinian rights.

Both sides also highlighted the measures followed to tackle the coronavirus in Palestine, provide protection to the Palestinians, and treat the persons infected.
