The Israeli war minister’s order to the Israeli occupation army chief of staff to step up preparations for the annexation of the occupied West Bank requires unifying Palestinian efforts to formulate a joint national plan to face off this move, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem has said.

In a press release Monday, Qasem called on the Palestinian Authority to act in line with the national consensus on embracing an option of unified, inclusive resistance against the occupation and agreeing on field mechanisms to fight off Israeli annexation of the occupied West Bank.
