Hamas spokesperson has urged several countries and international organisation to “seriously and practically” act to prevent the Israeli occupation from proceeding with its colonial plan and take steps to also bar it from acting as an outlawed state.

In a press release, Qasem said that the stances taken by regional sides and member states at the UN General Assembly session reflected an international consensus on rejecting annexation and proved that the US and Israeli positions on this move were isolated.

These regional and international positions against annexation plans, Qasem stressed, will be more effective provided that an inclusive Palestinian action was taken against this colonial project, which requires all Palestinian factions to formulate a unified strategy in which all Palestinians can take part.
