The Campaign of Reconstruction of Palestinian Homes destroyed by Israeli occupation forces has raised cash and in-kind donations estimated at one million shekels, about 260k USD.

The sum will provide alternative houses to four Palestinian families whose homes were demolished by Israeli forces in Nablus city.

"We will wait for a period of 15 days to have answers from the official authorities on the possibility to reconstruct the razed homes," said Mazen al-Denbek, campaign manager, in a press conference on Tuesday.

He pointed out that in case the Israeli authorities prevented the reconstruction, they will alternatively buy new apartments and furnish them in full for those families as Israeli forces had warned of reconstructing the demolished homes.

In the past weeks, Israeli forces razed homes of each of the prisoners Karam al-Masri, Yahya al-Haj Hamad, Samir Kousa, and Ragheb Elaiwi who are accused of being involved in killing a settler and his wife near Itamar settlement to the east of Nablus on October the first.
