Israeli occupation forces have committed 1,655 violations against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem during July.

According to a report by Hamas’ Information Office in the West Bank, Israeli occupation troops arrested 393 Palestinian citizens in July – double the number of those detained in June.

The report found a dramatic rise in raids by Israeli settlers into the al-Aqsa Mosque over the past month, with 2,764 settlers breaking into the Muslim sacred compound compared with 1,801 settlers in June.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation authorities have banned nine Palestinians, including guards at the al-Aqsa Mosque and religious figures, from accessing the al-Aqsa complex in occupied Jerusalem.

Some 20 illegal Israeli settlement activities, including confiscating and bulldozing Palestinian land, building settler-only roads, and approving settlement units, and 58 attacks against Palestinian citizens by Israeli settlers were documented in the report.

Over the last month, Israeli occupation forces and settlers have carried out 98 shootings against Palestinian civilians, killing one and injuring 75 others.

Israeli occupation troops have broken into Palestinian towns and villages 280 times and conducted 117 home raids across the occupied West Bank over the past month.

In a bid to restrict the movement of Palestinians, Israeli occupation forces erected 341 military checkpoints throughout the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

Last month, the Israeli occupation military demolished 18 Palestinian homes and 104 structures, including shops and agricultural facilities, compared with 81 structures the previous month, and delivered demolition orders to dozens of houses.

Israeli occupation forces confiscated 64 Palestinian properties, including money, equipment, and vehicles.

Jerusalem, Hebron, and Bethlehem, according to the report, were the most hit by Israeli violations, with 315, 259, 188 violations respectively.
