Shooting a Palestinian with disability at the Qalandia checkpoint north of occupied Jerusalem reflects the sadist and brutal nature of Israeli occupation soldiers, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem has said.

In a press release on Monday afternoon, Qasem explained that this crime also highlighted the scale of terrorism practiced against the Palestinian people by the Israeli occupation.

Qasem added that this barbarism came as the Israeli occupation, backed by the US administration, is acting as a state above the law.
