The Hamas leadership has contacted and met with several officials and leaders from various countries to reiterate its position not to cave in to the US pressures Israeli threats, head of Hamas’ National Relations Office Husam Badran has said.
Speaking at a Zoom conference on Saturday evening, Badran added that his movement was seeking to find a unified Palestinian stance to face off US President Donald Trump’s “deal of the century”.
“Visiting the al-Aqsa Mosque is a dream for every Muslim, but anyone visiting it under the name of normalisation isn’t welcomed,” Badran continued.
Through its agreement with the Israeli occupation, Badran pointed out, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) wants to deceive the Arab public that it was preserving the Palestinian cause.
The member of Hamas Political Bureau noted that his movement is a very influential group in the region yet it has never been part of any regional dispute, calling on all sides to support the Palestinian cause.
