Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri slammed the repeated remarks by Fatah leader Azzam al-Ahmed over the closure of Rafah crossing.

In a press statement on Monday, Abu Zuhri said that al-Ahmed’s remarks are ridiculous and had, in many occasions, proven to be nothing but baseless fabrications.

In his most recent remark, member of Fatah’s Central Committee al-Ahmed had condoned the near-permanent closure of Rafah crossing by the Egyptian authorities, holding Hamas responsible of the situation.
