The Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas called on Sunday for regional and international rights groups to exert their utmost efforts to save the lives of Palestinian detainees inside Israeli jails.
In press remarks, Hamas Spokesman Abdul Latif al-Qanoa called for the full protection of the Palestinian prisoners, who are enduring the worst forms of discrimination and negligence inside the Israeli jails.
Al-Qanoa urged all the regional and international rights groups to put pressure on the Israeli occupation authorities to end their arbitrary policies in the light of the continuous denial of rights and basic necessities needed by the prisoners amid the outbreak of covid-19 pandemic.
“Heat waves in summer aggravate the daily suffering of Palestinian prisoners,” al-Qanoa stressed, pointing out that the Israeli prison services reject providing fans for them or any ventilators for them.
