Head of Hamas political bureau Ismail Haniyeh has condemned the Arab League’s rejection of a draft resolution against normalisation with the Israeli occupation.

In a meeting with Muslim Scholars Group and a delegation from the International Union for the Scholars of Resistance held in Lebanon, Haniyeh confirmed that the Arab League’s move serves the Israeli occupation’s interests.  

“Normalisation is a flagrant violation against our Ummah and our rights”, added Haniyeh.

The Hamas chief noted that Palestine is the issue of our Ummah and Jerusalem is the issue that unifies all the free people of the world.
