The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas said on Wednesday that some Arab regimes manipulated Arab public opinion to normalise ties with the Israeli occupation.

Hamas Spokesman Abdel Latif al-Qanoa said: “The US ambassador to the Israeli occupation David Freidman’s confirmation that Israeli annexation plans had been postponed exposes the lies told by some Arab regimes sought the normalization of ties with the Israeli occupation.”

In a press release, al-Qanoa said that “exposing the false justifications of Arab states that signed normalisation agreements with the Israeli occupation foiled attempts by some sides to mislead the Arab public.”
