Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh received the chief of Palestine Committee in the Turkish Parliament Hasan Turan.

Both sides discussed the developments of the Palestinian cause and the possibilities of facing current challenges.

The Hamas chief hailed the position of Turkey in support of the Palestinian issue and expressed his gratitude to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for his speech at the inauguration of the 27^th Turkish parliament in which he reiterated the country’s support for the Palestinian cause.

Turan, in turn, stressed that Turkey will keep backing the Palestinian people until they restore their rights.

He also hailed the Palestinian factional efforts to heal the Palestinian split and promote unity
