Hamas mourns Pakistan’s Jamaat-e-Islami deputy chief

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas mourned on Monday the death of Dr. Abdul Ghaffar Aziz, deputy chief of the Jamaat-e-Islami in Pakistan.

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas mourned on Monday the death of Dr. Abdul Ghaffar Aziz, deputy chief of the Jamaat-e-Islami in Pakistan.

“As we mourn the deceased friend, we pray to Allah (SWT) to shower him with His forgiveness and grant him a place in heaven,” Hamas said in a press statement.

Hamas offered its sincere condolences to Aziz’s bereaved family, the the Jamaat-e-Islami party, and the Pakistani people on his death.

The Palestinian movement explained that Aziz had taken honuorable positions in support of Palestine and its just cause and played a role in backing the Palestinian people in their fight for their rights.

“May Allah shower him with His mercy and offer his family and beloved ones in Pakistan and the Islamic world patience,” Hamas concluded.
