Head of Hamas in the Gaza Strip Yehya al-Sinwar has sent letters to 5000 public and civil society figures, dignitaries, and prominent writers and intellectuals, briefing them on the update of the dialogue with Palestinian factions.

The Hamas chief in Gaza stressed that his movement’s constant position is based on its vision to unify the Palestinian House as it considers national unity a strategic goal for which it has spared no effort to accomplish.

Al-Sinwar said that Hamas is aware of the scale of dangers and threats targeting the Palestinian cause so it is seeking to dedicate all Palestinian efforts and factions to fight off the “deal of the century”, Israeli annexation plans, normalisation deals with the Israeli occupation.    

The letters included significant details on the updates on the Palestinian national dialogue and the steps that have been taken so far at the level of meetings among Palestinian factions as part of the comprehensive dialogue.

Al-Sinwar called for the figures and dignitaries to support national unity efforts from their influential positions in the society, confirming that the next stage will see more talks at a national level, which requires unifying all national and popular efforts in that regard.

Finally, al-Sinwar affirmed that the Hamas leadership would be at the centre of any Palestinian effort or stance rejecting and fighting off the annexation plans and normalisation agreements, adding that his movement would back any side that adopts its approach towards the Israeli occupation.
