In a phone call, Haniyeh reiterated his solidarity and support to Tukey in this ordeal.
Haniyeh also sent his condolences to the family of thevictims, wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded and hoping that rescue teams could save those trapped under the debris.
The head of Hamas Political Bureau reiterated that Turkey will overcome this tragic event, adding: “What happed had humanitarian repercussions in the hearts of all Palestinians everywhere.”
Meanwhile, the Turkish president thanked the top Hamas official for his call and “honest feelings of the Palestinian people,” briefing Haniyeh on Turkey’s effort to handle this catastrophe at different levels.
