Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh extended on Thursday evening his sincere condolences on the death of head of the Algerian Popular Front for Resisting Normalisation, Khader Bouregaa, an icon of the Algerian Revolution and a one of the figures of the National Liberation Army.

“With deep sadness, we received the news about the death of Khader Bouregaa,” Haniyeh said in a phone call, offering his condolences to the deceased figure’s family and beloved ones, as well as Algerian leadership and people.
“Bouregaa is an icon of the revolution and struggle against the French occupation and one of the freedom fighters who regarded Algeria and Palestine as one cause and remained committed to supporting Palestinian rights until the last breath of his life,” Haniyeh added.
“May Allah shower the deceased with His mercy, make his abode in His spacious gardens, and give patience to his family,” Haniyeh concluded.
