The victory scored by Palestinian detainee Maher al-Akhras in his battle with the Israeli prison administration is a remarkable win for him, his fellow prisoners, and the Palestinian people who supported him and embraced in his battle for freedom and defended the issue of Palestinian detainees. 

This victory should be landmark for the Palestinian people and factions to renew their commitment to supporting the Palestinian detainees and their just issues and escalate resistance and struggle to release all Palestinians and female detainees held in Israeli occupation prisons.
