The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas strongly condemns the Palestinian Authority’s resolution to restore relations with the Israeli occupation, ignoring all the national values and principles as well as the outcomes of the conference held by secretary-generals of the Palestinian factions.

This resolution is a stab in the back of the national efforts aimed to build up national partnership and develop a national strategy to face off annexation plans and the deal of century.

This move came on the heels of the Israeli announcement to construct thousands of settlement units in the occupied West Bank.

Moreover, the Palestinian Authority gives a justification for the Arab states which normalized their ties with the Israeli occupation after proclaimed condemnation.

Hamas calls on the Palestinian Authority to backtrack on this move immediately and stop betting on Bidon and other sides. The land would not be liberated, the occupation would not be kicked out and the rights would not be maintained except through real national unity based on a comprehensive national programme with the strategy of resistance against the Israeli occupation.
