The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement denounced on Wednesday Israeli airstrikes in Quneitra province in Syrian occupied Golan Heights as “barbaric aggression on the whole region.”

In a statement, Hamas Spokesperson Hazem Qasim said: “The continuous attacks on Syrian soil are an extension to the continuous Israeli crimes against our Palestinian people and against all peoples in the region.”     

These attacks come a few days after a visit by the US Secretary of State to the occupied Golan Heights, Qasim added, noting that this move is an “actual American participation in this aggression.”

This move, Qasim continued, comes as some regional sides are rushing to normalise ties with the Israeli occupation, an incentive for the Israeli occupation to continue and escalate its aggression on the Arab world.

Hamas spokesman called for unifying all efforts to face off the Israeli occupation for all Arab territories.
