The Palestinian community have lost one of its prominent figures, Dr Nidhal Abu Tabaq, after a battle with the deadly coronavirus. His death is a huge loss for our people.

Abu Tabaq was an honourable example of the Palestinian people in diaspora, conveying their sufferings and aspirations.

As the Mufti of the Islamic League, he was known of his flexibility, openness and prioritising communication and dialogue. He was also known of love for others; everyone loved him, including Palestinians, Arabs, Muslims and Poles.   

We offer our sincere condolences to the deceased’s family and the Palestinian and Muslim communities in Poland, as well as his beloved ones around the world.

May Allah shower the deceased with His mercy, make his abode in His spacious gardens and grant his family patience over his loss.
