Hamas movement strongly condemns the Israeli-Moroccan normalisation agreement. This step was shocking from a country that has long sided with Palestine, Jerusalem, and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

This move by the Kingdom of Morocco has disappointed and let down the Palestinian people. Although Morocco’s support has been clearly shown over the past ten years, especially when it led the Al-Quds committee, now it abandons the historic honourable position in support of Palestine and against the Israeli occupation.

Meanwhile, we hail the Moroccan people and all free people of the world who reject cheap normalisation deals with the Israel occupation. We urge them to continue with boycott and never accept normalisation with the Israeli occupation, which is a cancer in the region. We are sure that all Arab capitals that have normalised ties with the Israeli occupation will regret their acts one day.
