Statement on PA’s permission for disco party in Nabi Musa Mosque in Jerusalem
Hamas Spokesperson Fawzi Barhoum stated the following:
The disgraceful acts that took place at Al-Nabi Musa Mosque east of occupied Jerusalem is a desecration of the sanctity of worship houses that contradicts the values, morals and culture of the Palestinian people.
While condemning the organisation of such events under an official cover and with authorisation from Palestinian Authority (PA)’s Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh, we reiterate the necessity to hold accountable the organisers of this shameful act and put an end to any defiling of mosques and places of worship.
