Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh hailed on Tuesday Palestinian freedom fighters who belong to different resistance factions and Joint Operation Room for military wings of Palestinian factions after carrying out joint drills codenamed ‘Solid Cornerstone.’

In a press statement, Haniyeh said that this live fire exercise is a precursor for the future of the resistance operations managed by the Joint Operation Room.

“The Palestinian people adhere to resistance and will continue to accumulate power and develop the resistance capabilities,” Haniyeh stressed.

He also confirmed that the Solid Cornerstone manoeuvres send a strong message that the Palestinian factions are united and prepared to defend the Palestinian people at any time.

“This is the first-of-its-type live exercise… it also reflects the unity of the Palestinian factions in the field and the preparedness of Palestinian resistance to defend the Palestinian people against any Israeli aggression,” Haniyeh concluded.
