The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas mourns Palestine martyr Ahed Akhlil, from Beit Ummar town in West Bank city of Hebron, who was shot dead by Israeli occupation army after an alleged attempt to stab Israeli soldier.

We hail the martyr’s family and residents of Beit Ummar for facing off a continuous spate of fierce attacks by Israeli settlers.  

The Palestinian struggle against colonialism requires unifying national efforts and embracing the option of resistance to face off the Israeli aggression and protect our Palestinian land and holy sites.

We salute all Palestinians everywhere for their determination to restore their freedom and end the Israeli occupation.
