Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh sent letter of condolences to Indonesian President Joko Widodo over victims of civilian passenger plane crash.

“We, in Hamas, received with deep sorrow and pain the news about the crash of the Indonesian passenger plane carrying 62 people, which plunged into the sea near an island of the capital Jakarta,” Haniyeh wrote.

Haniyeh offered his deep condolences to the Indonesian President, the victims’ families and the Indonesian people, wishing that Allah would shower the victims with His mercy and forgiveness and grant their families patience over their loss.

Voicing Hamas and the Palestinian people’s solidarity with Indonesia, its people and the victims’ families, Haniyeh wished the Indonesian president, government and people a secure future, stable and more prosperous future.
