The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas slammed on Wednesday Israeli bombing of Syria at dawn, stressing that this “terrorism will not stop without stopping the Zionist project.”

“This continued terrorism practiced by the Israeli occupation reflects the aggressive mindset dominating it and its expansionist behaviour at the expense of the region and the Arab nations,” Hamas Spokesperson Hazem Qasem said in a tweet.

Qasem called on all segments of the Arab world to unite in the face of the Israeli occupation and its colonial project.  

Israeli occupation warplanes launched a spate of aerial attacks on the eastern Syrian cities of Deir Al Zour and Al Bokamal, the Syrian state news agency SANA said.
