The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas vehemently denounces the heinous assassination of Islamic Movement's former leader Mohammad Abu Najm in broad daylight in the occupied Palestinian city of Yaffa.

We hold the Israeli occupation full responsibility for this crime and all previous atrocities committed against the indigenous Palestinian population of the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948 in cold blood.

Amidst of this tragic condition, we call on Palestinian citizens of the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948 to face off Israeli-orchestrated conspiracies, trouble makers and perpetrators of crimes against the Palestinian community.

Hamas warns that this dirty conspiracy aimed to empty the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948 of Palestinian leaders and figures, especially those working for Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, urging the Palestinian people to fight off attempts to Israelise and steal their land and holy sites.
