The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas denounced on Sunday the killing of young Palestinian man in occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem by Israeli occupation forces.

“The execution of a young Palestinian man by the Israeli occupation army is a continuation of the gang-style behaviour practiced by the Israeli occupation military and an extension of the increasing settlers’ attacks against our Palestinian people in the West Bank,” Hamas Spokesperson Hazem Qasem said.

In a tweet, Qasem called for activating all forms of resistance to face off the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and getting engaged in a “joint and true confrontation against the Israeli occupation.”

The Hamas spokesperson urged the Palestinian Authority to end the security coordination with the Israeli occupation and implement the decisions taken at the conference of secretaries-general of Palestinian factions calling for activating popular resistance.
