Commenting on the Palestinian Authority (PA)’s attack on the former Palestinian detainee Abdul Nasser al-Rabi in the West Bank city of Qalqilia, member of Hamas Political Bureau Husam Badran stated the following:

We condemn the attack on the former Palestinian detainee Abdul Nasser al-Rabi by the PA’s security forces in Qalqilia.

We are following up this incident with deep concern as it is inconsistent with the positive atmosphere created by the Cairo agreement, in which all Palestinian factions agreed to protect freedoms and end violations of the Palestinian law and national norms.

Commitment to the outcomes of the Cairo agreement is part of the national responsibility that all institutions and bodies should assume to ensure the success of this national track.
