The Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” confirmed that Wednesday’s operation in Jerusalem marks a turning point for the ongoing Jerusalem intifada.

In a press statement, Hamas spokesman Husam Badran hailed the operation and commended the courage of the attackers.

He praised their ability to get to occupied Jerusalem despite the Israeli occupation’s security measures, stressing that the operation had landed a blow to the occupation’s security apparatus.

“This operation showcases our people’s resolve to carry on with the intifada despite all great hindrances,” he said.
