Commenting on the Israeli sentence against PFLP leader Khalida Jarrar, Hamas Spokesperson Fawzi Barhoum stated the following:

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas condemns sentencing the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) official Khalida Jarrar by Israeli occupation to two years in jail.

This sentence is a continuation of the suppression and terrorism policy practised by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian citizens, officials and figures in bid to prevent them from fulfilling their role in the Palestinian freedom struggle and take part in the election process.    

These arbitrary measures are doomed to fail as they will not break the will of the Palestinians nor will they dissuade them from continuing their fight for freedom and independence.
