The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas hailed on Wednesday ICC’s decision to launch investigation into Israeli war crimes, Hamas Spokesman Hazem Qasem said.

On his twitter, he wrote: “We welcome the International Criminal Court (ICC)'s investigation into Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people.”

He added: “We believe that this is an important step to achieve justice and hold the Israeli occupation accountable for its crime.”

Hamas calls on ICC to resist any pressure piled to hinder this investigation.
