Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh visited Saturday a number of injured Palestinians receiving medical treatment at Turkish hospitals.
During a visit, which came on Wounded Palestinians' Day, Haniyeh stressed that the Palestinian people would restore their right to return to their homeland through their sacrifices.
Haniyeh said the injured Palestinians are a “living witnesses to the stage of a people fighting for liberation from the occupation and are determined to go ahead at any cost.”
The Hamas chief hailed the wounded Palestinians for their sacrifices and steadfastness throughout the Palestinian freedom struggle against the Israeli occupation.
The injured Palestinians are “civilised witnesses to the steadfastness and resilience of the Palestinian people,” Haniyeh continued.
Haniyeh expressed his thanks and appreciation to the White Hands Association for providing healthcare to the wounded Palestinians in Turkey, hailing the Turkish president, government, and people for receiving the injured Palestinians at their hospitals.
Meanwhile, the top Hamas official thanked Iran, Qatar, and Egypt for their efforts in support of the Palestinian people in the besieged Gaza Strip.
