Hama mourns death of Syrian scholar
The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas mourns the death of Muslim Syrian scholar and preacher Sheikh Mohammed Ali al-Sabuni, who passed away on Friday in the Turkish city of Yalova aged 91.

“Among the believers are men who have proven true to what they pledged to Allah. Some of them have fulfilled their pledge with their lives, others are waiting their turn. They have never changed their commitment in the least.”
The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas mourns the death of Muslim Syrian scholar and preacher Sheikh Mohammed Ali al-Sabuni, who passed away on Friday in the Turkish city of Yalova aged 91.
Al-Sabuni spent most of his life teaching Islamic sciences and preaching.
May Allah shower the decedent’s soul with His mercy and grant his family and students patience over his loss.
May he rest in peace!
