The widespread participation of Palestinian masses in the funeral of national figure Omar Al-Barghouthi (Abu Asef) is an actual referendum on the option of resistance. The message communicated by the Palestinian masses is that the Palestinians adhere to their right to resist the Israeli occupation and are prepared to defend Palestinian freedom fighters at any cost.
