Hamas Spokesman Hazem Qasim stated the following:

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas welcomes the report by Human Rights Watch emphasising with evidence that the Israeli occupation constantly commits crimes against humanity of apartheid and persecution against the Palestinians.

This report, which is published by an impartial international organisation and is based on facts and figures, proves once again the credibility of the Palestinian narrative which exposes the crimes against humanity committed by the Israeli occupation against Palestinians and the Israeli occupation’s ongoing and appalling violation of international law.

The HRW report is added to a series of similar reports condemning the Israeli occupation for committing crimes against humanity and reiterating the necessity for a serious and practical international action to punish and hold the Israeli occupation accountable for its crimes and for the international community to assume its duty towards such atrocities.
